Education Center Benefits

Smoke Free Society Education Corporation (SFSEC) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt advocacy organization to influence public opinion concerning tobacco use.

SFSEC is committed to making education and awareness the key tools to curb smoking and tobacco use by providing a tangible, first-of-its-kind research and education facility, a permanent campus-style think tank center in Palm Beach County, Florida to provide, host and facilitate ongoing seminars, conferences and conventions to bring together smoking cessation professionals, i.e. physicians, psychologists, substance abuse specialists, other experts, etc. from around the nation and world to research, study, share and exchange ideas, facts and solutions to:

  • Develop and provide the most-effective educational and prevention programs to help educate our precious children to prevent them from a lifelong enslavement to smoking and tobacco use.

  • Develop the most-effective means and tools to educate smokers to better understand the nature of their smoking habit and nicotine addiction and how to more successfully quit and stay smoke free.

  • Educate the general public on the hazards of smoking and address issues such as smoke-free workplace and public laws and their implementation without creating millions of second-class citizens – smokers. And find solutions and guidelines to help with the transition from a smoking to a nonsmoking workplace and society.

  • Put solutions back into the community that further encourage community support, involvement and private donations for this most important cause of the 21st century that can tremendously improve and promote a healthy lifestyle that can lead to increased productivity, cost savings and eliminating disability, disease and death caused by smoking and tobacco use.

  • Nationally, to provide facilities in conjunction with local communities, schools, other civic and governmental institutions to further expand its outreach.

  • To create jobs, employment and worldwide recognition that helps Palm Beach County continue to transform into a leading center for scientific and medical research.

  • To develop programs and accredited courses in conjunction with colleges/universities to help train and certify smoking cessation professionals to better serve the need of the millions of smokers who want to quit smoking and/or help their loved ones quit. Every day in the USA alone, 70% of, or over 32 million, smokers desperately want to quit and need help to do so.

  • To create a circle of sport and entertainment celebrities to endorse and promote a positive, nonsmoking image as role models to help make nonsmoking a part of our culture as smoking has been for so long.

  • To offer classes and programs to educate parents who smoke on the negative impact secondhand smoke imposes on young children, how they are important role models to their children and how their costly habit limits their ability to better provide basic necessities such as food, education, healthcare and fun activities for their families. Everyday, over 125 million Americans alone, most of them children, are subjected to deadly secondhand smoke in their home, public and work place.

  • To design specially-tailored, educational and effective smoking cessation programs for pregnant mothers to educate them on the dangers of smoking and the lifelong effects of secondhand smoke on their unborn, newborn and young children.

  • To provide facilities where schools can bring their students on field trips to help better educate and inform them on the hazards of smoking, why not to smoke/use tobacco and get them actively involved at an early age.

  • To bring awareness and education through use of computers, information technology and video games that are widely used by our children to help them learn more about the hazards of smoking and to stay away from using tobacco.

  • To provide special programs for low income and under-educated families and children to better educate and inform them on the hazards of smoking and benefits of quitting, saving their health and wealth.

  • To provide classrooms, conference halls and staffing to bring together this unique and effective community service.

  • To provide solutions that can help increase productivity, helping cut costs and saving money for employees, employers and local, state and federal governments – a win, win combination for all.
